Review of Silent Movie
I feel as though the old man/fat man was very funny and well thought out. He put in the perfect amount of acting. If the two others had put that much effort in, the movie could have been so much better. There were parts where I was confused for the characters motivation to do something, like putting the donut on the chair, and jumping over the side of the railing. I loved how well put together their video editing was. I feel as if they definitely spent a lot of time on their editing and less so on their acting. In the end, I found it overall extremely funny and captivating, but their acting could have been improved. Their costumes and expressions were just over-the-top enough that it was perfect. There's a thin line between too much and just enough. The fat man taking out a snack was hilarious and very relatable. I just wish that the winner had gone last, and had a bigger fanfare due to all of the other failures that went before her. I find it ironic that the little girl won, and not the soldier (who randomly shot himself in the foot). There should have been something that triggered (excuse the pun) the man to shoot his foot, like the gun fell. Or he hit it on something and accidentally shot. But there wasn't, so I am now left feeling very confused.
