Monologue preparation
1. Who is your character?
A senior in high school, short, flat chested with no ass. Annoyance in her voice, brother is clearly taller.
2. What is the situation?
Hallway after one too many people have commented on her height. She's screaming to everyone.
3. Motivation?
Too many people commented on her height in a short amount of time, leaving her sick and tired of these comments.
4. What do you think happens before and after?
Before:5-6 people comment on her height and one person uses her shoulder as an elbow rest.
After: People stare blankly at her, then begin to go on with their days
5. What props, set pieces, or costumes?
Just a normal backpack with lockers in the background. People wearing jeans and t-shirts.l
